GRØN's Red Heat Recipe - A quick breakfast. A protein smoothie with chia seeds and plenty of cocoa and nuts
Chia seeds are also known as a treasure trove of nutrients.
Chia is a seed from the mint family, native to Central and South America.
Chia seeds are so nutritious that it is said that you can live on just chia seeds and water, making them a popular ingredient among boxers trying to lose weight and women on diets. Here we will introduce recipes using this ingredient.
Ingredients (for 2 glasses)
・Chia seeds: 1/4 cup ・Almond milk: 3/4 cup (You can also use cow's milk or soy milk if you prefer)
・Banana: 1 piece ・GRØN Protein Blend Red Heat : 20g
・1 teaspoon of cacao powder ・3-4 almonds ・Honey or maple syrup: to taste
<Recipe>
1.) Soak the chia seeds in water, mix well and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
2.) Add almond milk, chia seeds, and one banana to Red Heat Protein Blend and blend in a blender to create a shake.
3.) Pour the shake from step 2 into a glass.
4.) Crush the almonds and add them to the shake, leaving them crunchy.
5.) Top with cocoa powder.
6.) Finish by pouring maple syrup over the top.
