"Blue Zone" and Okinawa's "Nuchigusui"

"Blue Zone"
This term refers to areas where many healthy, long-lived people live.

There are five Blue Zones in the world.
Sardinia, Italy; Ikaria, Greece;
Loma Linda, USA, Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica.

And the only one in Asia
The blue zone is Okinawa.

Visiting California in search of "Spirulina"

June 2019,
GRØN visited the producers of spirulina, one of the ingredients in our protein blend Green Monster,
I made my way to California.

It's about a six-hour drive from Los Angeles.
Beyond the view of countless windmills and the strange trees growing in abundance in Joshua Tree National Park, we arrived at the Spirulina Farm.

Cabbage and the people of Hokkaido survive the cold

Fruitful autumn, October 2019,
I made a trip to Hokkaido.
The place we visited was Washitsu Town in Hokkaido.
36km north of Asahikawa,
The town has a population of just 3,400.

Washi's main industry is agriculture.
The season we visited was the harvest season.
Cabbage, sugar beets, rice,
Many crops, including buckwheat, wheat, and pumpkins, were ready for harvest.
