In June 2019, GRØN journeyed to California to meet the producers of spirulina, an essential ingredient in our Green Monster protein blend.
A six-hour drive from Los Angeles, past fields of countless wind turbines and the surreal trees of Joshua Tree National Park, led us to the spirulina farm.

Enduring the cold, cabbages and the people of Hokkaido
In October 2019, during the season of harvest, we journeyed to Hokkaido. The destination, Wassamu, a small agricultural town 36 km north of Asahikawa, home to just 3,400 people. It was a time of abundance, cabbages, sugar beets, rice, buckwheat, wheat, pumpkins, and more were all ready for harvest.
