GRØN Red Heat Recipe - Chia Seed & Coconut Cream Protein Smoothie
Chia seeds contain linoleic acid, one of the essential omega-3 fatty acids.
It is also said to lower cholesterol and neutral fat levels and purify the blood.
Because it satisfies hunger despite being low in calories, it is sometimes used by boxers to help them lose weight.
Here's a recipe using chia seeds and GRØN's Red Heat Protein Blend : 20g.
<Ingredients> (Serves 2)
・Protein Blend Red Heat : 20g
・3 teaspoons of chia seeds ・2 cups of almond milk ・100g of coconut cream or yogurt
・2 bananas ・A few mint leaves ・A small amount of cacao nibs
<Recipe>
1.) Prepare chia seeds.
*If possible, mix the chia seeds and 1 cup of almond milk the night before, or 1-2 hours before, and let it sit in the refrigerator.
2.) Blend RED HEAT Protein Blend, mint, remaining almond milk and banana in a blender.
*Reserve a small amount of banana and mint for garnish.
3.) Prepare a tall glass. Take the chia seeds out of the refrigerator and pour in the chia seeds, coconut cream or yogurt, and the mixture from step 2.
4.) Decorate and you're done!
Whether you stir it and drink it or take turns scooping it up, it's a drink that gives off a hint of minty freshness.
Chia seeds are rich not only in omega-3 but also minerals and dietary fiber, so much so that there is even a saying that "all we need to survive is chia seeds and water."
This smoothie is perfect for breakfast or as a light snack to fill you up.
