HBD Darren Romanelli! GRØN in Los Angeles.

On June 13th, 2019, GRØN participated in their first overseas event in Los Angeles, USA.

The venue was Art & Fish, a wholesale fish factory in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.

The warehouse area, which is normally used for storing and processing seafood, will be opened as a one-night-only experiential sushi restaurant called "Darren san's Sushi."

The main star of the event was Darren Romanelli , an American artist and creative director based in Los Angeles.

He is a huge Japanophile and serves as a member of the development team for the Los Angeles Rams, the top league of the NFL's American football, America's most popular sport, and the main venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

GRØN was asked to give us the opportunity to introduce his favorite Japanese brands to his colleagues and friends.

The theme of this GRØN event is "Okinawa, the island of longevity."

We focused on communicating about the producers and ingredients, something that GRØN values as a brand.
Okinawan ingredients are also attracting attention in the United States as the "Blue Zone" is one of the five longest-living regions in the world.

As a special menu to match this theme, an original menu will be offered in collaboration with MISO DTLA, a miso brewery in downtown Los Angeles.

Guests enjoyed miso dama, a vegan instant miso soup made with Okinawan purple yam and Californian spirulina, both of which are GRØN ingredients.

They also offer their own original superfood bowls made with vegan yogurt granola and pancake mix & protein, mixed with a green and red protein blend.

I was very happy to be able to see people's faces across borders through GRØN products.
