Gastronomy Wakan Soup "Functional Soup" to be released on November 14th!
Green Base LLC (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which operates the domestic plant-based protein brand GRØN, will release two types of "Functional Soup," a new type of Japanese and Chinese instant soup that allows you to easily enjoy the flavors created by gastronomy restaurants anywhere, on Monday, November 14, 2022 .
Reservations are currently being accepted at the GRØN official online store .
The recipes were supervised by Maruta, an urban restaurant in Tokyo's Jindaiji Garden that specializes in wood-fire cuisine and offers the experience of coexistence with nature.

A soup made with Yamato Angelica leaves from Uda City, Nara Prefecture, a town of medicinal herbs, that warms the body and improves circulation.
It has a fresh, spicy aroma and a mellow acidity.
This is a rich and tasty soup with the aromas and flavours of Yamato Angelica, kelp, rice koji and pepper.
We use generous amounts of herbs such as Yamato Angelica, which are grown without the use of pesticides in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, a town famous for its medicinal herbs, to create a soup that warms the body and helps support daily health.

1. Yamato Angelica Leaf (Uda City, Nara Prefecture)
Western name: Angelica. The root is also known as a panacea for gynecological diseases, such as tokishakuyaku.
These herbs are grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, one of Japan's leading medicinal herb producing areas.
It has the highest vitamin E content of any vegetable or fruit, and is also rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, and folic acid.
2. Lemongrass (Uda City, Nara Prefecture)
A herb used in herbal teas and ethnic cuisine.
It is said to improve gastrointestinal disorders, have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and is effective in preventing infections.
3. Coriander (Uda City, Nara Prefecture)
In addition to being used as coriander in ethnic cuisine, it is also used as a medicinal herb that mainly affects the digestive system, such as stimulating appetite.
4. Rice Koji Powder (Okayama Prefecture)
Domestically produced rice koji that produces citric acid without chemical synthesis. It has a gentle sour taste.
It helps regulate the intestinal environment and is beneficial in recovering from fatigue.
5. Kombu (from Hokkaido, Rishiri Island)
Large, thick kelp harvested from the sea near the World Heritage Site, Shiretoko.
Rich in minerals and amino acids.
6. Long pepper (Okinawa Prefecture)
Also known as long pepper, this domestic spice is gaining attention due to its keyword "Tie2."
7. Salt (Miyakojima, Okinawa Prefecture)

3. Okinawa Cinnamon Leaf (Okinawa Prefecture)
Ryukyu cinnamon leaves. A domestic spice that activates Tie 2, which keeps capillaries strong.
4. Awamori moromi (Okinawa Prefecture)
It is rich in amino acids such as GABA.
5. Brown sugar (Okinawa Prefecture)
It contains a lot of minerals such as calcium and potassium.
6. Coconut Milk Powder (Philippines)
Contains approximately 27% medium chain fatty acids. Powder made only from organic coconut and organic tapioca.
7. Ginger (Kochi Prefecture)
